Course Description

The Strategic Business Reporting (SBR) exam requires you to demonstrate your ability to make strategic business reporting decisions. Set within the corporate reporting environment you will be tested on concepts, theories, principles and crucially your ability to apply this knowledge to real life scenarios.

The below syllabus is covered during this course: 

  • Fundamental ethics and professional principles 
  • The financial reporting framework 
  • Reporting the financial performance of a range of entities 
  • Financial statements of groups of entities Interpret financial statements for different stakeholders 
  • Employability and technology skills

Should Attend

Either has completed all 3 Applied Knowledge exams and all 6 Applied skills exams or hold a relevant Accounting, Finance, or similar degree

Prerequisites

Either holding 2 A Levels and 3 O Levels or equivalent in 5 subjects, including English and Mathematics or holding a degree in Accounting, Business Studies, or similar.

Assessment

The Academy prepares students to sit for their Computer Based Exam (CBE) in either June or December.
